After building our own distribution centre near Calgary, to supply our corporate and franchise stores, we debated whether we should purchase a system from one of the larger software providers, at a very high cost, or look at some smaller suppliers who could create a custom solution for us. We have wortked with J.S. Software with our retail systems and were told by Cichlid Wholesale that they use their Warehousing application and were very happy!

We wanted to try and have a scan-based system without the need of lots of office PCs and manual input. This is now achieved and we control our warehouse, primarily using radio-frequency, barcode scanning guns allowing us to locate and pick stock throughout our warehouse.
J.S. Software are always there for us and we have developed a very close relationship and mutual trust that will prove invaluable over the coming years as we look to grow and develop our systems further to provide a JIT solution to our customers.
