JS has been a Back Office systems provider for 30 years and have interfaced to 30 different POS systems over this time.We were approached by a number of our multi-store users to create a single Back to Front system with one point of contact. We decided to take on this challenge and created our own POS system named J-POS.

The initial development and testing was done with JS and Hamilton IGA/Hammy’s Liquor (Ponoka, AB) with immense help from Tom Hamilton. Due to tragic circumstances Tom is no longer with us but we wanted to remember him and branded our software T-POS.

T-POS is, primarily, a touch-based POS system that allows for users to quickly adapt to a touch screen as they do with other touch devices, iPad, Smart Phone etc. T-POS is controlled by a user defined button pad. All these buttons are configured by each individual customer and allows for different color schemes and bitmap backgrounds on each button, if required. T-POS is already installed in over 30 stores and 200+ lanes.
